I replaced my TP 3 times with sprint and left my flashed rom on the phone. They really don't care. I think your safe with stock rom on it though.

step 1.) Flash a stock SHIPPED rom (not dumped while a dumped rom is just the stock rom, the certificats are signes wrong and once you flash the locker it will give an invalid rom error.

Ive attempted to flash it with this:

its not working. Still sits there saying Loading. Ill try formatting the disk again though

well if i send to them like this it's a lemon dude. it doesnt even boot it just sits there saying Loading, SD card in it or not

i took the RUU_SIGNED.nbh out, formatted fat32 to the disk, and put it on there.

It's doing something...

It says

and there is a progress indicator going.. 75% done so far. Am I saved or what?

yes, youre safe. you need to flash the shipped rom in order to relock. no worries.

See now was that bad?? You just needed the shipped signed ROM. Hope it all works out for you. BTW, I would have sent it backed unlocked, they most likley would have not noticed

I know Sprint SAYS it has to have the original OS, but I have sent my phone in to be replaces many times with a custom OS and NEVER had any issues. Just tell them your phone was having issues with the USB port and you THOUGHT upgrading to the new OS would work but NOW you see it is a hardware problem and not software...OOPS! Please stop stressing out over this...but since you have the OEM OS flashed, you're all good!

Next time, just take it to a Sprint AUTHORIZED REPAIR CENTER...they are much easier and FASTER to deal with then a Sprint Corp store and won't give you headaches.

i did the same thing cuz my keyboard didt work.. since the original rom and raido were on it i took it to the sprint store and the re-flashed it with no problem ... the phone did work again (accept my keyboard which was already broken) i walked outa the store (keyboard still broken) then waked back in abnd said now my keyboard dont work and they replaced the phone. yesterday was not fun 2 touchpros were replaced 1 for the keyboard and 1 for the screen

When you flash the RAPHIMG.nbh from the stock shipped .exe file it is already locked at that point. You do NOT have to relock after flashing using the shipped rom. Just FYI. It flashes the SPL/Radio/OS.

Have you tried a different cable? I had one that I used for my TP and external USB HDD. Needless to say, when both devices started randomly failing, it turned out to be the cable connector.
