Edit:Okay that all looks pretty cool, but how do I make my custom graphics. I not asking how to use Photoshop and illustrator because I already know how, but like NRG had all his custom icons and backgrounds, that part!

To cook your own rom, use Calkulins kitchen. He will no longer be creating kitchens and roms for various reasons but his final kithchen he just put up is fantastic and loved by all, just check the last couple of pages in his thread. I have also linked the thread where you can change your taskbar and backrounds

calkulins thread: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=50857
custom taskbar: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=65911
custom backround: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=75368

the only thing is, thats not supported anymore, and ervius kitchen is much much easier once its set up. It handles 6.5 better IMO, and makes things easier, since i cook a titanium and manila rom, i just hit a button and it switches from my titanium rom apps/selections, to my manila apps/selections.
plus all of the new builds being leaked are in the form of ervius, no need to port the xip, or move the sys around/

it is supported he just put that rom up and he still actively answers questions in his thread. He just will not be creating any new kitchens, but that is still the latest kitchen and was just put up over the weekend. I have used about every 6.5 rom on this thread and by far calkulins 23017 is the fastest and most stable. I don't use manilla but he does have manilla in the kitchen, he even has the tf3d 2.1 in there which was just released from the tp2. but to every chef his own.

its all a matter of oppinions, i find ervius much easier for my needs, to someone who wont be changing/updating things much caulk's is the way to go. I need my kitchen to be able to overwrite files and handle multiple sys and different oems, not everyone will change builds, or likes to try the latest ones.
