Yes i have i have just reflashed Engery Rom and will attempt bored GPS fix again, will post back with results


* EDIT

OK just followed Bored GPS instructions, and now its working fine, what i did was just hard reset, reflash, and hard reset, used the fix, now works flawlessly. Must' have been a fluke with previous flashes

wait, so does this work with ANY ROM?

because i tried a few generic Windows Mobile 6.5 ROM's that were blazing fast but i could not get the GPS to work.

im having a hard time with this as well i installed the new updated rom on my vzw touch pro did the gps unlock and it was working fine. i had to do a hard reset and every since then i cant find any satellites. ive done roughly 4 to 6 hard resets turned the gps on installed the ppst file went to the windows folder to run it did the #228 and still no satellites i just tried the htc gps tools and still no satellites are found im gonna try another hard reset shortly any other suggestions?

Hard resetiing throws the PPST2.01 out of memory...you have to re-install the cab and run windows/ppst to get your GPS back after a flash or hard reset!

i do that after every hard reset but sometimes it still doesnt pick up on the satellites. Do you have to do
*228 after u do the ppst from the windows folder? i noticed after i did that just now my gps picked up satellites in google maps

yes, after you run the PPST you need to do *228. i usually do both options just cause.
