I don't agree with this (respectfully) :)...the reg edit doesn't take at all. I use Resco Registry to make the change, and if I go up and come back into the settings section it has already changed back from Sprint to "Phone as Modem". The switch is instantaneous.

10 4 man, hopefully we ll get a perm solution shortly. back looking....:mrgreen: I saw that Yay 4 jugg said it is cm gaurdian that keeps reverting that isht back....

Thanked, and y4j's post too. I will try that solution - perhaps that's the answer to this until someone tears apart the new ROM and simply removes cm_guardian from it.

tools used; dotFred's Fdcsoft Taskmanager & GSFinder+
1. dotfred, process tab; stop HTC_CM_Gaurdian.exe
2. make dummy file (I just use a txt file I rename to make a dummy file)
3. gsfinder; select dummy file and send to / copy to \Windows
yes to overwrite.
4. reboot.

no prob man, i am looking for an easier softer way here, am thinking maybe just kill that friggin process with sktool, will try.....

oh, well, if ya got sktools, then you can do pretty much anything. ;0
but yea, the trick is stopping the process first.
