More than likely won't budge. Sell the TP and use that money towards the TP2.

You have 30 days to try a phone. If you don't like it bring it back. They will take the phone back and give you your money. Then wait for TP.

Sorry thought you said you bought it 3 weeks ago Not the 2nd week in June. Your screwed. I would put it on ebay soon and try to get as much money as you can.

My Sprint store hasn't had Touch Pro's for a while now, over a month. They don't have any more in stock, the last one just disappeared this past week while I was trying to get my keyboard fixed for the SEVENTH time.

If nothing else, the sheer number of replacements I have been forced to go through should qualify me for a free swap to another phone. They tried to sell me on everything else in the store, including the HTC Snap (HAHAHAH). I almost took the switch to a Treo Pro but nothing else compares to the price point of the Touch Pro. I'm stuck waiting it out with a Pro-turned-Diamond.

maybe. i think it works like this
if the store is out of stock then you would get a different phone.
for some reason alltel is never out of stock, well not right away anyways. i remember wanting the ax565 when the ax8600 went eol. they made so many colors of the ax8600 it took awhile to get a ax565

Just got off the phone with VZW, the TP is down to $99.oo with 2yr.
Then a $70.oo mail in rebate.
You Alltel people could transition like I did with QWerst a yr. ago.
Then when they run out of refurbs you can demand a warranty replacement TP2.
