TP Reboot Problem
Hi, I flashed a new rom this morning and my TP has been stuck in a reboot loop (power on -> Touch Pro screen -> restart -> Touch Pro screen -> restart, etc) since. I can get to the tricolor screen indicating that I used the cmonex unlocker -- full text:
--- Security Unlocked RAPH000 SPL-0.37.CMONEX MicroP-Hermann (LED) v0C85 MicroP-Hermann (KEY) v0685 PSOC-Raph STAGE_EVT v20 --- And when I connect the phone via USB, the bottom says USB. When unplugged it says Serial. I've tried several different roms in the mean time -- every time, when I get to the Upgrade screen, I get the following: http://i29.tinypic.com/106j4mq.png which would indicate to me that there is currently no rom on the phone at all. I've reflashing two different roms thus far, both go through the unlocked -> grey screen with progress indicator stage, the progress indicator gets to 100% both on the PC and on the phone, and then falls back to the reboot cycle. Any ideas? :spin: |
Re: TP Reboot Problem
Not really, whenever I upgrade I get to that screen but my current ROM is not listed, even if it is working fine on the phone.

Re: TP Reboot Problem
Is it possible you're trying to flash a GSM rom?
A few times when I've used an RUU, it's said I've had no rom, so I don't think that's a problem. However, I'd try to flash back to a stock rom, and if that doesn't work then I'd say that maybe something's wrong with the hardware. |
Re: TP Reboot Problem
What ROM did you have before this all happened. When I flashed to Juicy 8 from Juicy 6, I also had a blank Image Version in the from section. But I knew I had a ROM on there. Are the other ROMs you've flashed today doing this too? The cycling startup thing?

Re: TP Reboot Problem
Yeah I just had an extreme "duh" moment, and am 99% sure that my problem was trying to flash a GSM rom onto my Sprint TP. I'll know in about 5 minutes.

Re: TP Reboot Problem
That was totally it. Just flashed the latest Mighty and it works fine, I am just retarded.

Re: TP Reboot Problem
Hah, things happen.
I didn't recognize the rom you were trying to flash, and thought maybe it was a GSM. Flash on. |
