try to go into you phone Setting/connections/usb to pc then unclick the button that says enable faster active sync then try to resync.

This worked for me.

I went thru the same problem today! Try this, go to Start, settings, connection, usb to pc, make sure active sync is marked! Uncheck enable advanced network functionality, hit ok! It worked for me, hopefully it will for you!

I had this same issue. Reloaded the stock ROM via flash card. Suddenly today, I took out my card and plugged in my phone via USB to my PC and connection was made. Somehow taking out the card made it work. Will this work for you?

i flashed a rom via sd card,and its workin fine,i just wish i knew why i cant activesync anymore..
makes no sense to me.
