HTC Touch Pro won't charge, only when teathered

So I got this touch pro a while ago, and I've been using it to get internet on my laptop in remote places for months. Recently, though, this issue has popped up.

It started on my trip down here. All of a sudden, I wasn't connected. I look over at the phone and hear the cute little noise it makes when it's trying to say, "alright, I'm dead, I'll go ahead and shut off now"

It's happened 3 times since then, and it's driving me mad. I used to be able to teather with this thing for 9 hours, now it's like... 45 minutes.

I'm using PDANet, by the way.

Anybody have any idea?
