Please help, VzW Unlock issue

I followed all the necessary steps to unlock my VzW Touch pro, i extracted Raphael_CDMA_VZW_HSPL_035, i made sure active sync was on and properly connected, i made sure my USB cables were connected and for some reason i am getting a connection error still. The PDA phone rom utility is reading my phone and it gives me the option to update from (1.03.605.4) to image version (0.35 hspl). After all this it gives me a connection error and does nothing at all to my phone, please help iv'e tried everything!
