TURN YOUR SCREEN OFF

Ya'll will prolly rip me for this, but after 6 mos. of only getting 6 hours or so of battery life, I set my phone to turn the screen off after a few minutes, and walla, I can now go a full day w/o charging.

lol, I thought if I shut the thing shut off I wouldn't get no calls, etc.
Plus I thought the backlight dimming was "battery save" mode. :oops:

My TP went down 20% today after 8 hours of mostly being on standby. I really only used it for 30 min to surf the web and send a few texts. Standby does help. Also try un checking the accept all incoming beams...flashing various radios, and flashing good roms like Psyki and Silence's.

^ Mine started doing that right before the battery completely fried out, keep an eye on it.

keep in mind it's basically a mogul ronning twice the pixels now and more apps than any normal windows pda. Touchflo is a huge culprit to according some early discussions Ive seen on this forum. There's just nt a way around it and apprently, the TP2 is gonna be worse being that it has an extra 160 pixels to light up, even though the battery is a little stronger.

Try disabling Touchflo if its not absolutely necessary (or you don't have a car charger), turning off the services you don't use, and increasing your slot cycle to 4 (if you can find out how to change it :P, I can't remember, worked though :P). Hope this helps.
