Help needed with some issues urgently!

Just upgraded from the Samsung i780 and found a few troubling issues. One is that the built-in YouTube app & hotmail via tmail.exe seems to force itself to use the phone's connection instead of WiFi despite the fact that Im already connected via WiFi. How do I fix this as its kinda troublesome...

The touchscreen is also quite insensitive when compared to my Samsung i780 despite the fact that Ive tweaked both the TFLOSettings & TouchPanel Reg entries to ridiculous values like 122880. What is the value that works or is my TP busted?
