if you need/want me to cab it up for you, let me know.
I swear I posted a reply to your other question earlier today - my PC must have eaten it.

Anyway, I haven't done the cache hack, but then again, nothing said it was required. Just "install this cab and it works" sort of thing. A cab for the change would be nice, but not required. If you just know the registry entries to change, that would be best - I hate Advanced Config and try to avoid installing it at all costs.

woops, didn't notice the reply.
ppcgeeks seems to be signing me out randomly when I'm in my "new posts" section so I never do get the actual full list of new posts.

I'll post the cab here after I finish it here in a minute.

::Edit::

Here's the fix cab attached to this post.

Here's what it edits:

Code:
Decimal:
HKLM\Comm\Tcpip\Parms
"TcpWindowSize" Change To "98304"

Hexadecimal:
HKLM\System\GDI\GLYPHCACHE
"limit" change to "32000"

Decimal:
HkLM\System\StorageManager\FATFS
"CacheSize" Change To "98304"
It's based off of this post here.

Re: wm 6.5 and pandora?? anyone

I did some searching and managed to find the entries. I left the glyphcache alone but changed my TCP window size (smaller) and the file system filter cache (enabled and made larger).

Good news that Pandora works well now (TCP window size?) but LFM does NOT. I randomly stumbled upon a cure for LFM though - run it in the background. It's buffer won't run out and it will play full songs - even with the cache and tcp window sizes set to defaults.

So could the glyph cache have an effect on this? It seems that the issue lis with it redrawing the buffer bar... so it's feasible if I understand it all correctly?

glad you found it. sorry it took me so long.
I was getting distracted constantly haha.

I have nfsfan's TP rom stock (for now, just reflashed old version),
and I have no problem what so ever with the last fm app.

Re: wm 6.5 and pandora?? anyone

Ok, in light of all the issues... I made a cab that is the "one stop shop" to getting Pandora to work.

It's IVAN's VGA pandora .exe, combined with the .reg entries which change TCP window size, file system cache, and file system filter cache. Enjoy. It's untested but there's no reason it shouldn't work.

Edit: Pulled download link for notes of bricking phones - I'll test, correct, and re-upload. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

Re: wm 6.5 and pandora?? anyone

Well might have been my fault, I have a diamond not a pro, and I am running the latest groove rom win mobile 6.5. I installed the cab, and I got some type of c++ debug error and pandora crashed, so I decided to just uninstall the cab, decided to do a soft reset after, and then my phone wouldnt get past boot, it froze up when windows mobile got to the home page.

I tried this on energy rom 0630. It installs fine, but when I try to open it, I get the blue Pandora screen and the spinning circle. Won't get past that screen. I installed to my device. Any ideas?

Also, after rebooting, I get a grey screen sometimes. Other times I just get stuck on the splash screen. Had to re-flash.
