only SPRINT phones can be used with Boost(no sim cards) Alltel phones will not work.remember Boost is a Sprint company and will only activate their own phones

HERE is the DATA solution for the TP2 on Boost

whether you are with Sprint or Boost and have a dual radio tp2 what you need to do is go to epst ##786#Reverse Logistics Support and do a hard reset itwill ask you if you want to restore to factory defalts..click ok restart and provisionng will start to prog the data connection.. its that simple ... havent tried mod or custom roms yet but i say dont rock the boat!!!!!

I switched mine from sprint to boost. All I did was call the boost customer service number and have them port my # from sprint. I did not have a boost phone or account. They setup an account for me, transfered my # and took my touch pro ESN. They said since it is not a boost phone any problems it might have are unsupported.

I added credit on the account and everything seems to work fine but it does drop calls a lot more often. I'm guessing that boost must have a lower priority than sprint on sprint's system.
