No ActiveSync/no Disk?
Anyone else have their TP all of a sudden not connect to any computer?
I don't get the TP giving me the choice nor does it connect to activesync on my work computer nor my mac laptop as a disk drive. It worked fine earlier in the day. Ideas? (rom: Mighty/Silence 1st one). |

goto settings>connections>usb to pc> make sure active sync is selected... also the pop up u were talking about, active sync or disk drive option is in there too

ya, if activesync is selected and still won't see that it's connected,
uncheck the advanced connection thing |

when this happened on my vogue(before I got my TP)
I had it connect like a hard drive, and then went into usb2pc and changed it to activesync and checked the advanced connection box and it dinged like it disconnected, and then dinged again and started the activesync connection. so possibly try that. |

It won't connect as either ActiveSync or Disk Drive :(.
I suspect I have a Sprint Store visit tomorrow :( |

try a diff rom first or stock rom again, b4 goin to the store....

this could be pc/laptop issue depending on what OS u run. Delete partnership and recreate. Also, one thing that drove me nuts all day one day was that Active sync on TP, OPTIONS, connect to Pc via USB came unchecked.....check it:mrgreen:

BTDT tried all of the above except diff rom. Fortunately I have multiples on the SD card. WIll try that, but not holding out hope.

Dude, try uninstalling your mobile device center and reinstall, it will be helpful to know what OS u running on u r pc/laptop.....

I did this on:
Windows XP64 MacOS 10.5 both no luck. Store couldn't either. Here's the kicker, they made me file an insurance claim (custom rom). Grr. Cost $100. Feh. Waiting for replacement from Asurion. |

I get this all the time, you need to open task manager and shut down the following files:
rapimanager.exe two more files which I cannot remember as I don't sync at work wnsvc or something like that, they're one right after another in the task list start with w***..exe. Disconnect your device from the usb cable, reconnect and then restart Activecrap manually by double-clicking the icon. Should reconnect normally after that. |

Tried all those, plus the store couldn't get it to connect there. I am *VERY* technical.
