HELP! Unable to Flash my Rom back to stock rom

I have been going crazy with this. I use the Rom Update Utility to flash my rom. It has worked in the past. I connect my HTC Touch Pro to Active Sync. Then, I run the utility. My HTC Touch Pro says I need to power off in order for the rom to flash, so I do. But then the utility on my computer says there is an error because my HTC Touch Pro isn't connected.

HOWEVER, my HTC Pro updates the rom. On the HTC touch Pro, it says it is finished. The only way to get it to restart is to reset it. When I do, it flashes the old rom I had, not the NEW one. Please help me fix this problem!
