text message and phone questions

Hello all i am new here and already learned so much but posted this question in the wrong forum. so i am looking for help. i have a touch pro on sprint with the lastest might rom 5 full. my phone sometimes won't get text messages sent from people for like hours or days later. And second the same with calls sometimes people call me three times in a row before my phone rings once! This is very frustrating for me and i need help. i asked a rep at the sprint store today and he said some b.s. about it is win mo and the phone blah blah blah but he couldn't give me a fix or isolate the cause. Help....btw this forum is the bomb. I never knew you could do so much with a cell phone. thanks everybody
