Is there a .cab that installs all your programs after flasing?
I'm not sure if I misread, but I recall seeing a cab that would install all your selected programs after flashing so you wouldn't have to do it manually? Does this exist? Thanks.

Why not just use a b/u app such as SPB or Resco and everything will be reinstalled just as it was before the flash?

Re: Is there a .cab that installs all your programs after flasing?
Ok I'm new to these forums...... ok let me have it.
BTW Mighty Mike I love your ROM's! Glad you 86'd the Kwerty keyboard. Now on to business I'm more of an old school script guy but I currently just put a file on the root of my micro SD card called sdconfig.txt and put in the list of cabs I want installed. Example. LOCK: Enabled CAB: \Storage Card\Advanced_Configuration_Tool_v3.3.cab CPY1:\Storage Card\INSTALL FIRST\Browser Tools\opera6.adr CPY2:\Windows\Opera9\opera6.adr LOCK: Disabled RST: Reset What will happen during after the phone flashes it automatically looks for the sdconfig.txt command if it doesn't find one it just goes on to installing the software from the phone providers (most of it is garbage) Anyway just make sure you follow this example and all will work for you, and yes the cpy commands for opera are the location of the opera bookmark files. The first part of the command is the "from" location and the second part of the command is the "to" location. Enjoy!!! |
