Refurbished Touch Pro

Please excuse me if I post this thread in the wrong place. I had a cracked screen touch pro, then got replacement of a refurbished touch pro from insurance. However, I've noticed that the color of the refurbished touch pro is kind of yellow not bright as my old phone by comparing both phone side by side with the same power setup. Do you have any idea, why?

I just don't like the mix color kind of yellow of this refurbished one. Please advise.

This should definately be in the General Touch pro forum. The upgrades is for kitchens, roms and radios. But as to your problem, maybe they peed on it when the were refurbishing it? I kid.

the screens became yellow or pale after the 1st month they were out. pretty much all you're gonna get is another pale-screened refurb.

Thank a lot for all information, so all refurbished Touch Pro would have yellow or pale screen, right? I got my Touch Pro new in the box in March 2009 and the screen is perfect color. If I got the refurbished phone with yellow or pale screen, would it be considered as defective one?

all new screens are going to be yellow. i started a thread about this months ago when i got my first replacement tp. you get used to it.

do they just wear out or fade? i havent noticed mine as yellow YET but idk. ill look when im done tethering

It is just kind of yellowish screen or pale, I don't know whether all refurbished touch pro come with this kind of yellow color but the brand new touch pro that I got, color was kind of bright when it turns on.

I'm gonna' go ahead and disagree. I got a refurb as a replacement for the Newton's Rings issue. The screen is perfect. There were no scratches and DEFINITELY no discoloring.

OP what's your refurb date? Mine is 4/17.
