Im sick of my phone...
 

Okay so my 5th replacement is in the mail. I bought my first one 2 months ago..
Im sick of using windows mobile already. I hate the look of it! Its tacky..
I also hate the battery life. I hate having to recharge it half way through the day.
I hate the touch screen. Its not that responsive, and it just annoys me...
Well, I have been thinking about dishing out $600 for a palm pre and seeing if they can put it on verizon.
Or is there a way I can make my touch pro better?
Is there a ROM out there that can help me use windows mobile as little as possible!!
Anyone know when WinMob 7 is coming out?
Because I heard thats supposed to look nice.

You can try one of the ROMS with the TP2 manila cooked in... There is quite a few to choose from.... Or u can jump carriers & go with the Palm PRE for Sprint or the iphone 3GS with it's new 3.0 camera :angry7: for AT&T...

What is a good ROM to help me do this that will work?
And I have never installed a ROM before.... So i dont know how to install it...

Either WM is for you or it isn't... I guess it just wasn't meant to be lol

OP, please hear me out on this one.

Please do not give up on your touch pro until you try Merdinh's rom. I repeat, PLEASE don't give up until you try Merdinh's rom!

It doesn't matter which one you try (6.1 or 6.5). I have the 6.5 one personally, and the only rom that'll make me leave his is the update to this one.

After flashing his rom, my battery life went from 2-3 hours to a whole day. And I didn't lose any performance as far as speed is concerned. In fact, I've only seen about two spikes of lag since I flashed his rom, and I really believe those spikes were program related.

Try Merdinh's rom before spending another dime toward another phone. It's in the rom section on this site.

As another alternative after three strikes you can fuss at them and get them to let you out of your contract under the Lemon Law.

So if this phone breaks too just call Verizon and say you've had enough and want out of the contract. Then jump to Sprint and get the Pre.

I am using the new JUICY 8 Beta 1 ROM and its doing pretty good. I have to say, I hated my TP as well until I switched away from the Stock Sprint rom. Its like having a brand new phone!! So much more responsive, new WM 6.5... what else can you ask for.
