have you changed your vision login or password recently? or have you swap'ed phones or activated the phone recently?

Nah, none of the above. Just went to Merdin's page and downloaded some of his upgrades for his newest rom. Got the blue theme and the updated prl and sprint carrier cabs... Somehow, something that i did with those installs messed everything up.

when ever you do an update pri and have the sprint carrier cab installed, it corrupts your epst settings. Doing the ##786# - menu - reset fixes it. I believe the problem now is that you tried to access your data connection on your phone with the corrupt information and after 3 failed attempts, sprint will lock the acct for 20 minutes. So, wait a little bit before you try again. here is more info on that here and here. thats good news, means that if everything goes as they say on the sprint site, i should have my phone running by sometime tonite!:headbang:

So what do u recommend? Should I flash my phone with the shipped sprint ROM (which is taking FOREVER to dl!!!) OR

Should I wait the 20 mins, reset the phone through the ##786#, with the current ROM?

Not really sure what steps I should take.

i would just flash back to the shipped rom to be on the safe side. then after everything is workin again, then you can flash back to whatever custom rom you want.

hi i have a LG Lotus LX600 sprint phone i recently switched to cricket, cricket said they had flashed it but i am finding out they didnt truly flash it . i know that it is possible i get an error 7 network time out for everything i try to do. i can make and receve calls and text messages. anyone know how to flash

***!!!SOLUTION!!!***


Call sprint and get new phone,

Went through ALL the programming codes with the sprint rep, tech support, advanced tech support. Finally said, i had 2 options: go to sprint store or have them send me a new(refurb) phone. ---> Have them send you a new phone. Its impossible to find a sprint repair store with any Htc touch pro's.
