smashed against the wall, and wit for the pre, or touch pro 2, if they don't have good battery life do step one again and go back to your trusty touch..

well, to be more clear, worked on my diamond, haven't needed it on my pro. I swap out a battery mid day every day and i'm ok w/ that.

Didn't work for me either, my system was freezing up (which it NEVER does) & refusing to answer incoming calls.

I tried it for two days & then deleted it, & all the problems disappeared.

i tried the reborn rom and it seems to give me awesome battery life. i even txtd a lot today and it didnt last as long but still longer than usual. i think it lasted a hour less than usual. do the tweak to shut off connection if idle for 60 seconds and set your email to pull for 60 mins and that will greatly help

straight up. Dont diss HTC phones... EVER. Its not the phone, its the roms compatibility with YOU! Just keep trying roms. If you dont find one you like, then the phones has too many features for you. you might just need something a little less technical. Like honestly half the stuff on my phone is for show. i dont use it. Take it off, and the phone would work a LOT better. But i take that trade hehe :P

I think that the only reason that I will keep my TP is because I only paid 80 bucks for it when I extended my Alltel contract. I am amazed that what could have been the best Winmo device out there became so gimped. Makes me miss my 6700

I carry 2 batteries ever since I started using htc phones. most of the time sprint will give them to you if you ask.

really? so if i had my friend go in to a sprint store and ask for another battery they would give him one?......i wish. im thinking about buying the 2 for 20 on ebay. thats freaking cheap for 2 oem batterties. i also believe its the rom. i have reborn rom and never complain anymore about my phone.

I agree that battery life sucks. I love this phone though. It has so much memory and runs just about anything I throw at it. The only reason I bought this phone was because I paid $100 for it and needed more memory (my Mogul wouldn't run GPS and music player at the same time, not enough memory). I just plug my phone in at night and plug it in on and off throughout the day at work. Would be nice if the battery would last at least one day though.
