That's a major factor for the reason I'm waiting
for the TP2 instead of getting the TP.
With the TP2 I'll be able to keep it for quite a while.

The TP and TP2 are almost I dentical. I am pretty sure the TP will be able to run windows 7 as well, can someone confirm my theory?

Check your facts first, it will upgrade to wm6.5. There haas not been mention anywhere about the Touch Pro 2 upgrading to wm7.

Actually, there was a link posted somewhere that show all the specs and the last bullet point mentioned wm7 upgradeable. Can't seem to find it right now but its in one of these threads somewhere, probably over in the pocketpc news forums.
