Update PRL and Service Profile Apps *help*

Hello, after flashing away from the stock rom (Sprint) I lost the update prl app and additionally the update service profile app too.

How can I get these on my phone with a special rom? Are there cabs to reinstall thses?

I truly appreciate help from anyone out there!

i dont think they have apps?i always updated prl through *22803 on my phone , i am with telus, prl updates are avail through their automated over the air servers.

odd. if you're on Sprint, it definately shouldn't have wiped your internet out.

no really, it did~ I am on sprint, and yes, it didn't let me connect to the internet any longer. I had to roll back the registry. my prl version is currently 60613, do i even need to update it? i was reading and others had much higher...so i thought i should.

Registry? It shouldn't have made any registry changes which would effect your connectivity.

There are known weird issues attempting to use Update PRL with a non-sprint radio, but that has been documented, usually the update just fails. This is the case on a stock ROM, too.

On your Sprint stock ROM I imagine you dialed ##778# to access these programs. Try dialing ##778 instead or look in your windows directory for PPST.exe. You may need a file explorer program that will allow you to view hidden and system files.
