Hi guys,

Just to let you know that the famous chef NFSFAN just released his first ROM for CDMA HTC Touch Pro on XDA.
His CDMA HTC Vogue roms are among the best ever made.

His roms have been saying coming soon since that website was put up lol. I wouldn't be expecting a rom for no2chem anytime soon. He is focused on other things right now. I would love a 6.5 no2chem rom though. That would be bad ***. I would pay for that.

Everyone is comfortable on different version sys, depending on what they were cooking on.

I think the post on xda does say 'working on new sys'

Your right and i'm happy you are :mrgreen:. i just checked his website and he did update the links they now say coming soon w/ nue kurnel 2 so now i'm SUPER excited. If no2chem gets back rolling with these roms we will be in 6.5 heaven:headbang::headbang::headbang:

I did not like the guy but I am moving on. He made a mistake and if he wanted to he could use a different online persona to cook roms, so I am not going to hold it against him anymore. His name is mud and there is not much else we can do to him.

That being said this rom is great. So far it is the best 6.5 rom I have used. My wife is rocking his last rom on her vogue. The guy can cook.

Anyways, anybody have a working Opera cab with flash that I can use? Never had to hunt one down b4.

Let's please ensure that we're talking about rom and not the man. NFSFAN was banned from here but that doesn't prevent us from constructively discussing his current rom that is hosted at XDA.

There is no need to re-open the banning discussion.....I'm gonna delete all the "off-topic" comments in this thread.

Unless you are NFSFAN under a new name, ( Principal ) Do your homework and learn before you teach..

Im still playing around with it but it is pretty fast, if it had no Manilla whatso ever ide probly be sticking with this for a little while. but im probly switching back to Silence. Silence you Rock.

Blah, blah, waaa waa, sticks and stones. Who cares. All I do know is that this rom is sick. Best 6.5 rom I have used yet by far.

The thread over at XDA is chopped full of useful info and I can only see this Rom getting better.

MoonZ is it cause of storage size that you wouldnt want Manilla? Cause when Manilla is NOT running its doesnt chew up memory. So, I'm not understanding the thought on this.

Well that and i like Clean Roms, because they only have apps and things that i install and use, and having TF3D which i dont use is going kinda against what i want in a Rom. just personal choice i guess lol. for some reason also i dont know if its just a mental thing or if its any actual diffrence but when i have TF3D on a Rom it just seems slower to me, i know its probly just me but im liking titanium so ima go with it lol.

Well, I can understand that. I like Titanium also its just pleasing to the eyes. Or it could be that I got tired of manilla. Either way to each their own and thanks for taking the time to respond.

Me too - and having Manila off the phone saves a ton of room. And it "feels" faster to me. See the ROM below in my sig if you want WM6.5 sans Manila. Been running that one since 5/11 (that's really long for me) and it's really slick, and stable. I may try this one just for giggles - but it would have to be a major upgrade for me not to come back to this one. That fact that it includes Manila doesn't bode well for it lasting all that long on my phone.

Anyone else who can give some feedback on battery ? I keep putting mine to sync with PC / charge so hadn't had achance yet to experience battery life much.

Battery life has been ok...no charging between 8am and 1:25 pm...59% battery remaining.

I believe that my battery life is about the same when I factor in that I am playing with it more to get it customized.

I'm actually digging this rom after running it for a day. Battery seems to be about the same, ****ty to my standards but I have 3 batteries and a desktop charger to charge the spares.

my battery takes forever to charge is there a fast charge cab out there floating around

I've never found a fast charge that actually works. It seems to take just as long to charge with the pc as it does thru the wall. As far as battery life goes, this thing is doing way better than any Mightyrom I've ever run. Its only been running for about 8 hours with me playing with it quite a bit, but its at 65%. This rom is fast, stable, and I've had no problems with it.

All this rom needs is the people tab from the HD (which I installed) and S2A. It has the old Answer/Ignore buttons from the stock rom. I've installed a black S2A, can't remember who made it, but it was one remade from Juggalo_X's S2A. I recommend disabling the dialer skin in order to use it. It should cut back on the delay some.

Thats the point of fast charge; to pull the same current from your usb port or car charger as from the ac wall outlet...

Ooooooooh...+1 for clearing that up...I thought fast charge was supposed to be like those battery packs you carry around that charge the phone up quick. Like I'd be able to sit there and watch the charge level go to 100% in like 2 minutes.

Ok I thought it was the nueclock control, but it's the fast charge and battery driver that makes the start menu distorted on WM 6.5 roms. Just hard reset a few times to confirm. I installed only the battery driver upon hard reset.

I had the same problem intermittently on calkulins rom with the fast charge.
