slow internet on evdo
 

my mogul just died and i got a touch pro form assurion. so far i love it but i have one some what big issue, the evdo connection is as slow as molasses in January. with my mogul i could pull about 1200kbps, but in the same spot my TP is only getting 96kbps lol. tried a prl update, profile update, differnt browsers but no change. any ideas?

and idea could be to flash to a different radio. I'm personally using the telus radio. connection speed is in my sig. (taken 10 minutes ago)

been considering a differnt radio (using stock 1.03.15f), or a hardreset to see if its a software issue.

you dont even need to hard reset just that stock radio alone is garbage. If you want to HR go ahead but I advise you to change that radio. It should help.

well decided to try the telus radio, but the phone isn't agreeing. every time after i but it into the bootloader active sync drops the connection and ruu times out.

*EDIT*

all is well when you actually unlock the phone first lol, though i did that yesterday. with the telus radio i got 1079kbps, and about 3-4 more bars and a difference of -10-15dbm on the 1x.
