Re: never ending vibrate

Hard reset (hardware based hard reset, not Clear Storage). Had this happen with Migty5 after flashing SilenceX Test3. Something gets messed up and leftover files cause it to corrupt some parts.

Re: never ending vibrate

I've run into the same issue on multiple ROMs on the Titan and my TP. It normally only happens to me when I receive a text message while I'm doing something else on my phone such as in a call or playing a game.

Easiest way to stop it is to open Sounds and Notifications in Settings, and disable vibrate for text messages and it immediately stops after I exit. I just go back in and re-enable it afterwards.

Re: never ending vibrate

This is just a known issue, no one has figured out how to make it stop. Luckily it doesn't happen that often.

Re: never ending vibrate

That happens to me all of the time. I find it's when the TP is in landscape mode, I have it in the SMS app and I get a new text. When I finish replying, it stops, or sometimes it stops when I hit the power button again.

I'm running the VZW stock rom.

Re: never ending vibrate

This used to happen to me all the time until I uninstalled PocketShield and decided to stick with the built-in locking feature (many months ago). Hasn't happened once since then. Granted, new versions of PS have been released since I quit using it, but I've learned to live with the built-in lock, so I haven't bothered trying it out again. Other screen-locking apps may result in similar behavior. Is anyone who reports having this issue NOT using a third-party screen-locking app?

I had it when not using any locking at all.

Question Re: never ending vibrate

Do not know if you tried this already .... the settings tab, all settings, personal tab, sounds & notifications, notifications tab, messaging new txt message, and play around with your phone and setup what you would like whenever you receive a txt message ...
