Touch Pro - Anyone know the max number of flashes before the memory dies?

Just wondering how many flashes the memory can take, as I flash 2-3 times a week, and did have to do a warranty replacement of my last Touch Pro due to memory issues. (It just started leaking data. I would have to hard reset once a day just to maintain a useable phone)

10,000 is correct
if you flashed one rom a day for about 27 years you will reach the limit

and by that time i think we will have the super Touch HD pro 73

I don't even flash that often (cause I'm lazy for setting it back up) and mine phones still die

- so far this one is good but I'm waiting for it 2 give out

oh no i did the math on how often i flash mine, and i have over a year, guess i need to stop flashing it hourly,

ok im not that bad, every couple of days i seem to though so i will be good for 50 years

Thanks for all the input, sounds like flashing is not the reason my TP died this last time

Now if it will just remain free from all the other ways to fail, I'll be set for awhile.

not completely true,

it turns out that the user filespace (FAT32) lives in flash too, so the lifespan can actually be much shorter if you have something that keeps writing to flash (/my documents), for example, over and over again...
