Re: Micro SDHC?

I have a 4gb, I keep pics and music on it, even my BIBLE. It works smooth, there is a sd tuneup file listed here somewhere that sped things up a little. Once in a while I copy all my stuff to my pc, then reformat my card. On the file that was copied to the pc, I run my spyware and antivirus programs. They I copy the folder back to the sd card. This is the only safe way to defrag a sd card. I used pocket mech and mem maid before, but was told by sandisk that this could ruin a card. God bless

:mrgreen:ummm lets see.. I have cabs(from my mogul days), movies (wolverine on tcmcp at work was great!) and about 7 gigs of music and my pc tool box and I have maybe 2 gigs left on my 16 gig. Now the 8 gig on my keyring has a few movies of the morally questionable material<---insert porn there! and a few more files. I got rid of the laptop so my phone is working hard now!
If you question if you need that kind of space then an 8 gig should hold you but for some of us, you always need more!!:headbang: I dont worry about the "look at me" deal...unless the 8 gig is in the phone:mrgreen:

Re: Micro SDHC?

i went ahead and ordered the 8GB last night. i probably will need more but I can survive. times are tough to spend another $25 for extra 8GBs. maybe in the future, but the video is great on the Touch Pro, making me want to put my TV Shows on it.

lol I have 8 gig and its full... as well as the free 1gig is full.. I need another 8 gig or maybe just bite the bullet and get a 16gig or even a 32gig if I can find 1... movies take up quite a bit of space and my son loves watching movies on my phone when driving (I dont have a portable cd player)

Compared to what??

One of the most criticized aspects of the TP is its lame video drivers......

Re: Micro SDHC?

I thought I'd never fill up my 8GB. But it was near the top after 3 months. Programs, games, movies (on and off), music, YT downloads, photos, etc. So last week I got a new 16GB card. I think I'll NEVER fill that one up LOL.

My video is great. Compared to my previous Apache and also compared to other PPCs I've seen. I'm a BIG Tech1 fan and have all his TCMCP and YouTube stuff installed. See http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=59820

lol, thats funny. i don't know nothing about the feedback about the video but yet the youtube video looks a lot better than the iphone video.

Micro SDXC?

Can the touch pro or tp 2 support sdxc?

Re: Micro SDHC?

pretty sure no, i know the TP specifies it tops at 32GB and i'm sure TP2 is the same. and we're probably still around a year or two before sdxc goes micro and hits the market and it'll probably have different drive requirements like sdhc anyway
