You actually do not need a paid data plan for MMS (pic messages) & they don't charge for them as data use. If you connect online for anything else however, the charges add up real quick.........

There is nothing available that's better than Mighty 4.16 IMHO, although you need to lower the pagepool to run it in a VZ TP.

yes you do! trust me you wont be able to get them on smartphones without a data plan
ive had 3 other windows mobile phones without data plans and you wernt able to receive them
