It had to have been from a returned phone. The rep at my repair center here told me HTC doesnt release parts for their phones. They just replace them. I had to have mine replaced for somewhat the same reason. Sometimes if too much pressure was applied to it when in my pocket the screen would just shut off. I fixed it after I rolled it across the carpet at home. Sometimes I'd drop it on a conveyor at work to turn it back on. They wouldn't replace it until I could duplicate the problem. So I went outside, stuck it in my pocket, and started squatting and stretching until it shut off. A few days later, I had a fresh Touch Pro!

I am getting ready to get my third HTC PRO in less than a year (and they are all well maintained), first one was Keyboard went out, second one screen went all kinds of crazy,then blacked out...I hope HTC PRO 2 is better...had the Rumor and it lasted a long time no probs. QWERTY was awesome .... Kindof dissappointed in this top of the line phone. For the price, should be almost indestructable!! lol
