Re: Skyfire Mobile

I like Skyfire only cuz it works like a full mobile version. I like Opera better cuz it looks better since it's made for VGA and the panning is more fluid. Those are my only issues. They are a deal-breakers though! I use Skyfire just as much as Opera.

This seems like shameless promoting! Reminds me of the SoCal rave scene. =D

Well, not to be a **** (ok, maybe that's a bit of a lie) but do you really think no one around here has heard of Skyfire? I'm pretty sure it's in the TP essentials sticky too, or at least there is mention of it there.

Either way, thank you for sharing, and welcome to PPCGeeks.

Ah, just saw that you added a poll to this...

Skyfire has its benefits but it isn't as easy to navigate as with Opera, additionally, it doesn't fully support VGA resolution, so pages and fonts still look all funny. It just isn't as smooth as Opera. I use it when I -need- a complex site to just work right, which isn't all that often... Opera covers me 99% of the time, but I still keep Skyfire around.

As you all can see he's knew to this and his 1st posts was to inform us about something he thought a lot of people didn't know about. so there no need to get @ him for that

But skyfire was mention here a lot of times there's a search button you can click on before posting threads and no need to call us newbies easy way to get flamed on especially on a site thats called ppcgeeks

EDIT - I just seen another thread you posted

I highly recommend using the search function because i'll bet everything you have for your phone has been mention on this sites a long time ago

Re: Skyfire Mobile

heres a little advice bro, before you post an app, take the name of it, type it in GOOGLE and also type PPCGeeks in the same search bar and if it comes up, dont start a new thread.

PS also make sure you put the threads where they belong. this one would be in the Pocket PC software forum.

PPS Dont rate your own threads. thats for other users to let eveyone else wether the information you have posted is good or not. not for you to decide. and its a little tacky.
