Re: The perfect (hard) case...

Try an OTTERBOX case. I've seen these on blackberrys that have hit the wall at top speed and then taken a bath in the river and been fine (not that i condone ever throwing your phone)

not sure if they have a touch pro case yet but they are pretty good about releasing things. If not try one of the universals

These work great! I use on on my snowmobile and it keeps the phone dry and I even fliped my sled once and it landed on the phone side and didn't even hurt the phone at all. I have it mounted to my handlebars. Got mine for $20 on ebay a few months back.

Re: The perfect (hard) case...

I use this one and so far no complaints. Phone slides with ease and the tabs that "grab" the phone to keep case on do not interfere with slide motion. Tried the hard rubber one from sprint and the tabs stuck up to far and rubbed on screen part of slider. I even tried to shave them down with a razor but it was to a point if I shaved anymore the tabs would fall off.

That's a nice looking case, I just ordered one.

One thing I'm curious about however. It claims it fits both the HTC TouchPro & the xv6850 (VZ version). There is NO WAY it can fit both, these are two totally different phones size wise??

I take it you have a Sprint TP??

Bulky obviously, but hard to believe you'll find anything stronger.

Case is made of metal, last I checked radio waves + metal (faraday cage) = very bad for the radio waves. I used an all metal case on my Blackberry, usually I get 5 bars of 1x and 3-5 bars of EV everywhere in town. With the metal case I got 3 bars of 1X and was lucky to pick up EV anywhere beside the mall/Verizon store.

ppc 6850 is the TP, exact quote is "Fits HTC Touch Pro and 6850 Touch Pro cell phones". Yes I own a touch pro and it is the sweetest gadget out there imo.

Same as this one, cept the color, and $20...
Yes, i own one, and a STP http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=310122623851

I WILL be buying the Armor case from Boxwave as soon as i can justify the $28 tag, + the anti glare screen.

I remember these from the days of the 6700. Ima have to pass until they make the extended battery version available for purchase. I guess I can always buy this one & cut the hole myself....
