I'm currently running a loaded 6.1 rhodium ROM...I'm salivating at all these 6.5's and I keep seeing 2 ROM's pop up...Copper and Star...I'd like to know which of the 2 are most stable. I know its up to the individual as to what he/she prefers...I've ran both a clean 6.1 and a loaded 6.1...and I love them both for what they are...HOWEVER...stability is a huge factor since I use my TP for work purposes...and can't have crashes over simple functions... any opinions would be much appreciated

I have ran both and IMO Star is more stable, only had to do 1 soft reset last week. already had to do 5 soft resets with copper's today/yesterday this has to do with having to install cabs b/c copper is CLEAN and there are programs that dont play well with others on 6.5

What is Titanium?

for sure someone will tell me to search the threads, so Ive gone ahead and done that...I see numerous references to Titanium and lots of files, but no description of what it is?

Can anyone out there take mercy on this noob and give me a quick description of what Titanium is?...or point me in the right direction to the first threads discussing this topic?

If you're gonna do this cab, you should do it right and treat it like a ROM.

Keep a dated Changelog in a "code" window in the first post and keep updating it with cabs that get posted to the thread. It's too bad we don't have a wikipost of some sort that multiple members could add to.

Titanium is WinMo 6.5's interface...IMHO...it is MS's answer to TF3D. I flashed a 6.5 ROM last nite...and I am NOT blown away by Titanium...granted it is still in its infancy in the hands modders...and I'm sure there are HUGE possibilities (favorite contacts panel...app panels...)All in all, its another way to "cover" the aged UI that WinMo runs. Titanium is listed under start>>settings>>today>>items...you would select "windows default" and that will give you your Titanium UI. Good ole today screen is still functional and well...and depending on what ROM you're running...you'll still find TF3D on top of 6.5. Hope this helps...and if I'm mistaken on any of this...pls...cut me some slack

Here is a Opera Panel for 6.5 if anyone wants it. Showaco made it over on xda. The original link is here. Ill post a download link on this forum too. Works great.

Opera Favorites panel with auto import

Here's a new panel for testing. I added a mortscript to handle the import of your bookmarks from opera 9.5. I don't know if it works with all versions of opera or not. The script reads the opera6.adr file located in \Windows\Opera9 folder to get bookmark list. It launches links by calling on opera at \Windows\OperaL.exe. Test it out, and I can add more features if it works.

Install:
REQUIRES MORTSCRIPT, if you have titaniumweather installed, then you are already good to go.
1. Install cab file
2. Add it to your plugin list in the registry at HKLM\Software\Microsoft\CHome\ExtensibilityXML
3. Restart Windows Default(CHOME) plugin from Settings\Today\Items
4. Go to newly added opera favorites panel and click right soft key to import your opera bookmarks. Press panel to open links in Opera.
