Having a screen rotate problem any help

I was running the last juicy rom and when I turned off screen and turned it back on it would rotate from portrait to landscape no matter which way you hold it. So I decided to try Cooper and when it starts it up it shows just landscape when keyboard was in so I did another hard reset to clear everything out again in case anything got left behind. It still just shows only a landscape view. Anyone have any idea to fix it? or Can I just take it to a sprint to get it exchanged? Nothing has been installed to the phone after new flash.
