Should i Jump; What am I so afraid of right?

Hello again guys!
I'm interested in trying a new Radio on my TP.
I unlocked my Mogul when I have it and flashed it to another ROM and everything and wasnt afraid but for some reason i'm afraid to jump with my TP.
Gimme some feed back should i take the plunge and try the new radio? I have a lot of issues with poor service near my home but have been fully enjoying the phone as is at work and out at our shows...
help me out guys!
