Re: Evdo Speed Tweaks For Touch Pro

Your own personal speed is dependant on network conditions in your area. If your carriers bandwidth is limited in your area you won't see an increase no matter what you do as the bottleneck is on their end.

On the other hand if your carrier has speed to spare this might make a big difference depending on your current settings.

Would you please post the link to the actual thread at XDA in addition to the attachment link? Thanks!

Run the software that i provided (tcptune). Use the following settings for Cellular line 1, and Cellular line 2:

Rwin: 98304
Windows Scaling on
TTL 128
MTU Discovery on
Selective Acks on
Time Stamps off

Reboot.

Peep the speed blast.

Forgot to mention that I'm on Sprint. Not sure if this works on other carriers but it would not hurt to try.
I dont't see two different cellular lines, just one. Where is the second?

same here, i can't find "cellular line 2"... using mighty rom 4.16 for T.PRO

the values where already there... except for Rwin. Wich i changed to the recommended, 98300. I did it for "cellular line" and "Remote-NDIS host".

getting the usual 2+ mbits here in L.A.

Re: Evdo Speed Tweaks For Touch Pro

This wont improve the speed of the internet (on the pc/laptop) while tethered (using ics to get internet on your pc/laptop thru your phone's internet connection)... it is only for the browsers/apps on the phone itself.

You'd need to adjust the tcp settings on the computer itself to improve the speed...but most likely they are already at the optimum values. There is a tcptune for windows.. maybe you want to google that.

Re: Evdo Speed Tweaks For Touch Pro

I was reading this thread over at xda before it was posted over here. Results over there were varied as well. I wonder what the common denominator is. It worked for me...check my sig.

Ok, that's my DS-3 at work...but I had you going for a sec
