Here's a thread that talks about the 3000mah battery and the Seido 2500mah battery as well-

http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=54554

There are some good pictures there that show just exactly how much bigger your phone will be.

Hope this helps....and if it does, don't forget to hit the green "Thanks" button in the corner

Don't even bother with the tutorial to use a Sprint phone on Verizon's network. A lot of people having trouble with that right now.

I have a 3000, it is nice if you dont care about how it looks... My friend "manager" also has a TP and he is living off a charger (like a life line) every where he goes with the stock battery..lol always needing a charge, since he is talking non -stop here and there.

Re: Touch Pro Questions/Dilemma

Thanks for the help so far guys. I'm weighing the options. My TP will be here Wednesday so I'm thinking I'll crack the box open, turn the wifi on and do a few reg hacks and see what type of life I get on it with email and web use. It'll give me an idea.

Interestingly enough the thickness of the TP with the Mugen 3000 is about the same as my 6800 with the 2200 battery. I could handle the size of it if its that much of an improvement. Mugen is about triple the capacity of the stock battery right?

I thought it was ROM related, re-flashed to a stock ROM, but was still having the same issues. Went back to Juicy's ROM and now it's completely dead - even on a stock ROM. The last one just died instantly, it didn't have the slow and painful death this one did - that would have been nicer :P
Thats just some bad luck, are the build dates the same for all of them (as unlikely as that is)?

Re: Touch Pro Questions/Dilemma

just wanted to bump this up and say thanks to everybody who helped me out with my questions. I have my TP and have unlocked and messed with it a bit..I'm loving this phone. I made the right decision for sure. Thanks again guys. This forum rules.

I miss my 6800 but I know I will have way more fun with the Touch Pro.

The info from that whole thing ended up across a few threads. That phone got replaced too. I'm on TP #5 now.

Build dates have been getting progressively newer, none have been refurbs. Keyboard failed on November and March (!!!) build date phones.

Re: Touch Pro Questions/Dilemma

For what it's worth, I just went from a stock rom and radio setup to custom last week thx to help from Dan_HTC_Touch walking me through the process...I flashed to Mighty Mike 4.16, which helped battery life a bit, and at first flashed to the US Cellular 1.07.06 radio...I noticed about a 20-30% degradation in battery life, which was shocking...gave it a few days, and switched to the Telus 1.04.05 radio, and it's been a miracle...my battery life went from about 12 hours on the old stock setup, to 16-17 hours, with Flexmail push email on, and regular use on the phone and texts (ie same as I was doing before)...and the Telus radio definitely does not get as hot as the stock radio did...I'm very happy with Mighty Mike and the Telus radio at this point, and no longer have to be concerned about being tethered to a charging cable if I'm going out after work... hope that helps...
