To me it looks like it wont detach at all fromt he front housing. Am I right? Or am I just a sinile blind grampa?

your missing four screws on the back side of the part you have set out take them out and it will come apart

Yea... the LEDs are right under the lower buttons. You're going too far if you want to change their color. Plus your ribbon cables look a bit different than mine

I want the LCD screen to come off the front housing. Believe me.. all screws are off! Including the screws in my brain. :P

Sorry.. I should have mentioned that I was not looking for the LCD mod. I got there, I am just wondering about the LCD screen.

Did you download the manual?
I never took the LCD out of the housing....didn't have a need...sorry.

But as sauman said, if you are just trying to color the LEDs then your going to far, lol

Use a q-tip dipped alcohol and remove the marker

It is well worth it, if you do it right...

everyone who sees them says there sweet, and most of them don't even care bout phones lol
