Great thought!

OP: Amazing! I never do any hardware mods though...

If your talking about the white rubber under the icons I think that might work real well. Someone try it and post some pics.

Ok, so I used your suggestion and I colored the LED's with sharpie. Except, they came out very light [see image] I want them to be vibrant like yours! [esp. the end key]

How did you make those colors so deep?

The sharpies I used are pictured:

Sorry they're blurry... It may look red, but its really pink/pastel-like

Ideas? Do I use a darker sharpie? These are BRAND NEW markers!

Oopsie.. Forgot to add that in :silent:

You have to "Layer" the marker coloring..
When you color the leds, Just "Blot" them
with the tip of the marker. Let each layer
dry before doing another. It takes about 4
blots to get a nice and deep color. If you
just colored them like you normally use a
marker, Or pen for that matter.. Then every
time you pass over the same spot, The
marker "Wipes" off the previous spot..
Thats why you have to just "Blot" it.
Or, its called "Dabbing".. meethinks? :)

No Silly.. But, Testors Model paint will :evil4: or nail polish...
Just make sure you try it one thin layer at a time.
