Re: My touch pro mod - L.E.Ds
For those of you who are still interested in doing this, here is my experience with returning the phone...
Of course, this voids your warranty... But Sprint didn't even notice for me. I had to send my phone back to get a TP2 upgrade, and they didn't even mention anything. I don't think they have any sort of grounds for refusing phones if the LEDs have changed colors (but they didn't even bother to see if the phone had been opened!) Also, I need to emphasize this as it VERY EASY to strip the screws on the phone! DO NOT use a screwdriver that is too small. Get one that fits perfectly so that you can easily remove/replace screws without damaging them. |
Re: My touch pro mod - L.E.Ds
There was a dood that use to do this on Sprintusers. You send the phone to him and for $79.95 (shipping included) he would change the LED's to whatever color you wanted on any Sanyo device. It was an excellent service. The OP should provide this service.
Very cool though. |
