TP internet very slow: wifi and cellular

Even after adding a few tweaks I found, I can tell no difference between the internet using wifi or cellular. I have comcast cable, and often get above 10mb a sec download. While on my cell, I know it might not be that fast but I imagined being able to surf way better than using the cellular internet. When I open opera to my "my.yahoo.com" homepage, the bar goes about 1/8 of the way across the screen and then it just hangs and starts creeping. Anyone have any ideas? The only thing I've done was the tweak package that takes away the sprint icons and tweak package from the same guy. I've forgot his name, but it is stickied on this page.
