Flashing help please
 

I just flashed my HTC Touch Pro. After usiing the link here:http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=42503 for my instructions I followed them exactly. The issue I am at now is the thread said to load .37 for the VZW edition. (which I did and I have verizon). and that during the bootloader screen it will be a tricolored screen (which it is now) but instead of saying .37 as my SPL my phone says .25.

Secondly, when I was loading through active sync (as said in the instructions) once the phone rebooted it lost sync with active sync....I didnt know what to do so that is why I am here. Please advise.

I am not doing anything else at the moment untill someone can walk me through this.

From the HSPL thread - 3. 0.35 for Verizon touch pro's ONLY

Thats what you should have downloaded and flashed. It sounds like you have the MFG bootloader for Sprint/Alltel etc.

Re read the instructions carefully, make sure you dont get any information crossed and download the correct file and reflash.

ok, got it working again, however the vzw flash for some reason stops working when opened

yes, The HSPL for verizon in the link wont work...it keeps shutting off. I attempting to try via storage card now and wondering why I ever decided to get vista on my computer lol.

Now my main question as its reformatting is this: If I use memory card A to flash my phone can I use memory card B that has all my programs on it and leave it in my phone without having to reflash my phone?

Can you get your phone back into bootloader mode? If you can does it say that your phone is unlocked? It should say that at the top of the screen. Mine does and I used cmonex .37 for Sprint. If you can get back into bootloader try to reflash your unlocker.

where is bootloader menu found :/

When I did install the original rom it said that it was unlocked. I unplugged the phone after my first post and it works fine.


*edit* ok loaded via mobile web and extracted files.... it is unlocked and correct version is availabe...im on the tri colored screen right now. Now what do i do one im in the tricolored screen? unplug my phone from the computer?

Dude...it's painfully obvious that you are not reading the instructions in the how to unlock thread that you, yourself, posted a link to. If you are on the verizon touch pro, it should say 0.35.CMONEX on the bootloader screen if you have successfully unlocked.
