Umm, I may have missed the possibility of a Diamond rom, but where did I get the sd card info wrong?

Rename nbh> copy to sd > insert sd in phone > hard reset > ...profit?

That's how its worked for me for the last few years, how do you do it?

That is all kinds of wrong. You have to put the phone into bootloader mode to initiate a flash from the microsd card.

Ughhh, you're obviously correct. I was typing hard reset and thinking bootloader mode. Then again, it's only something I've done 30-40 times (6700/Mogul/TP)! Maybe early signs of Alzheimers? Thanks for correcting my mistake and my apologies to the OP if I added to the stress you must already be experiencing with a bad flash.
