?uestion about returning device with upgraded radio...

I have a ticket to replace my NIB TP that's less than 3 weeks old with a TERRIBLE screen blob issue with another NIB TP. Since I'm running a custom ROM, I will first flash to the Sprint shipped/signed stock ROM then re-lock. Do I have to do anything with the radio since I upgraded to v1.11.00f or would that be ok to return to the Sprint store?
