My keyboard was acting funky so I took it apart and taped it up liberally, I hope to have no more sass from my keyboard anymore. Thank you OP!

My keyboard died and I went into sprint today 30 mins later I came out with a new keyboard same phone but new keyboard. was very pleased because I did not want a refurbished phone.

Finally gave up and called Sprint yesterday. Got a replacement refurb TP today. My keyboard was dead entirely. No lights and it was stuck in landscape. The g-sensor was broken too. I gotta say, they're fast when they replace phones. So far it seems ok. Lets see how many days this one lasts before it dies!

Im on my 5th TP now since i got one when it first came out. I've had 3 brand new phones and 2 refurbs. Never opened the sucker up, thats what my insurance is for. This new one is soooooo slow though. Its annoying.

I have had my TP for a while and never had a keyboard issue. Its been droped and nicked up and the screen has small scratches and I've contemplated complaining of a keyboard issue just to get a replacement that is clean and free of marks and nicks but after reading this I think I'll consider myself lucky and just hang on to this one. LOL

Nice post! You wouldnt happen to know how to fix the send button? I press it and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt.

I did it. Works Perfect! I cleaned the contacts with rubbing alch. on a qtip as well for good measure. I'm pleased to have my keyboard back again, thank god!

I just wanted to make sure. My keyboard lights when I first open my touch pro and my screen rotates but no keys do anything or keep the backlight on. It seemed like this happened when I flashed to one of the new kernal ROMs. After going back to stock its still like this, hardware issue right?

That's fairly typical of a disconnected/loose keyboard.
