You know what , I think your on to something here. It's taking shape nicely and your plan sounds pretty good to me. Honestly I spend WAY to much time flashing already and my wife is starting to get awnry about it but I'll see if I cant find some spare time............

Thanks for the thread!:headbang:

DivxRipPimps Conflipper Rom Review

1 Attachment(s)
slightly laggy overall feel, only slightly, nothing bad
Camera is fast, saves pictures rather quick
Video recording works well
Touch menu doesn't work/fit in landscape
txt typing keeps up
youtube plays perfect
opera build seems slow
facebook app is cool, iv never seen it before
about 5 seconds to load windows folder in stock file explorer
lots of free ram
notification app is cool
keyboard really does work perfect
needs to add nuekeyboard backlight support
the weather database has a ton of citys (i know there is a cab/fix for that, but i never got it to work... now all my local citys are in there!)
voice command works perfect, and is fast... even is quick to dial after confirmation
using roms stock now, i sorta like the htc x button app, I used to replace it with WKTask every time. is there a way to have access to the drop down menu for the X button on any screen?

finger flick scrolling is slower, not laggy but just seems set slower, dont know if its on purpose. scroll bars seem tiny.

i enjoy the rom overall, it works well, feels very comfortable and everything seems easily accessible... im starting to like htc x button over wktask now... and the finger friendly menus are amazing. the menus cutting off in landscape is pretty annoying tho...

sms text area being cut off doesnt happen in this rom, so far... started battery log @ 11:06am

notification app is really cool but when i have a missed call or message and i click on the notification it doesnt do anything, im assuming its supposed to open the call log or missed messages?

this rom is my fav out of the 3 touch pro roms iv used in the past... if the things i mentioned were fixed it would be awesome.

battery seems to drop about 4% an hour which is awesome!

its now 8:35 pm and battery is at 20% it seems to be dropping more rapidly now...

Battery lasted untill 11:45pm, when i plugged it in it was at 20%...

****Post Rom Usage Review****
I enjoyed this ROM A LOT! It was really nice, i have to say tho, the few little things that I found wrong got really annoying... But the ROM was pretty awesome overall... A lot of usefull apps are included and everything was easy to get to... Battery seemed pretty decent, but that was not running any of my normal apps and thats with email checking every 15 min... One day battery test means nothing tho...

Notification app, those are the notifications that if i click it does nothing... Is it just to tell you about them?

http://img9.imageshack.us/img9/9571/screen16m.th.png
Touch Friendly Menus in Portrate View...

http://img10.imageshack.us/img10/2523/screen15p.th.png
MMS App with crazy size limit, lol....

http://img11.imageshack.us/img11/3115/screen14i.th.png
Unless this is new, or im dumb iv never seen built in profiles like this, without a third party app, if i remember correctly this was a tab in TF3D

http://img17.imageshack.us/img17/5681/screen13n.th.png
Notifications app... It was really really nice, way better than the htc enlarge notifications app or whatever its called... But it didnt do anything when i had missed calls or messages, it just told me about them, i would assume its supposed to take me to the messaging app or the call log when clicked?

Facebook App... Havent seen it before, its pretty nice...

http://img11.imageshack.us/img11/9992/screen04p.th.png
Hardware Key vibrate! Its pretty awesome... Iv had software feedback for a while now, but hardware key vibrate is even better!

http://img17.imageshack.us/img17/6954/screen03b.th.png

sounds great. one thing I'd like to say that I know will be one of the biggest concerns besides stabilty is PLEASE document the differences in battery life using the same functions with all.

Just a recommendation !

Yea, I will try... The reviews are just going to be points and notes on the rom... Ill tell you how i feel about battery life, but what im going to notice wont be much as im only going to have the rom for one day, and since im not a robot ill be using the phone differently each day... But as i said ill try...

Nice list, perhaps have a list underneath the name with the list of carriers?

Love the idea.

this is an awesome idea if this get finished (or more developed) it should definitely be stickied. Great for people just trying to flash real quick and dont wanna look through threads and also great for newbs that dont know their way around hope to see this in a more completed state.
