Do I need to get another Touch Pro?!
ok so i bought the touch pro in early march. within the first 4 days i had to exchange it for a new one because the battery was bad (i know the stock rom blew with battery but it would die withing 30 minutes and all connections off) so the sprint store replaced it on the spot and i was cruising with a couple roms for 3 weeks no prob. a few days ago the screen started glitching and wouldnt want to turn on or off when i pressed the power button. then the screen would start shifting all over the place. i flashed to a few other roms and did a few hard resets to see if it would fix it and even the boot loader screen was jumbled. now today only the backlight goes on and i cant do anything on my phone! it wont even hard reset either! active sync isnt connecting either.
so im at a loss here and after that huge story i would appreciate anyones input on what to do here. thanks very much guys |

Ummm no, you need to stop flashing your phone and installing ROMs.

im pretty sure the majority of people on this forum are running on custom roms :) my big question is is there anything i can do to get my phone back to normal without bringing it in for servicing.

my suggestion is to flash it back to the sprint rom and take it in to be replaced

If there is any possibility of them realizing you've flashed a custom ROM, then you absolutely cannot take it to the store. The only thing you can do is "lose" it and file a claim with Asurion... I suggest you do that before the new deductible goes into effect.

I think that last post makes it 88.2351% of statistics. But I believe you. LMFAO! I'm not sure if I'm understanding properly, but does the screen come on at all? Do the hard keys work at all, specifially the center button? I know it's not easy to use navigating until you get the hang of it, but any buttons working would help.
