sync fails

Help-for some reason my phone will not sync with the computer. It says it is connected, but it will not sync. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the device partnership. Everything is now gone on my phone and I can't get sync to work. Any thoughts?

You have installed active sync right?? and also the active sync 4.5 disc that came with the phone is for vista, if you have xp you have to download the software from htc or sprint.com

Re: sync fails

You also might want to unselect "Enable fast data sync".

Settings > connections > USB to PC

Sounds like you may need to reinstall active sync as suggested above.

Re: sync fails

ok-I delete WMDC on computer and reinstall and it works at this moment-I'll see if it lasts. I think I tried this once before and it was temporary.

Re: sync fails

it worked for a little while, now its messed up again. Any ideas, having to do this is a serious pain, not to mention I don't know what I'm losing.
