Interesting, thats a reputable forum. Does 3.5 contain everything that 2.0 has? It seems that my phone is trying to put 3.5 on top of 2.0. So if I only had 3.5, would all the programs running on 2.0 still work?

Im not super knowledgeable regarding net compact framework, but i read it'll support applications developed for NCF 1.0 and 2.0. So it sounds like you should be good. May wanna confirm that.

No! you still need the 2.0 files, all files on our TP does not use the 3.5 file, some still use the 2.0, but I understand just what you are asking...

Go to my thread here http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=59820 ... Go down to the 'Added Video Accessories Area", there, you will find the updated 3.5 version and the latest 2.0 version, also you will find the installation instructions there......:drunken:

In my registry settings HKLM/software/microsoft/net compact framework, it shows 2 versions, 2,0 and 3.5. 2.0 has a value of 0 and 3.5 a value of 1. So, does the value of 2.0 being 0, mean its disabled, and if it is, does it still need to be there? I guess thats where im confused.

Yes, the 2.0 files still needs to be there, they are very important files, that's the reason you only delete the 3.5 file.....:drunken:

If you guys are thinking, well I got the 3.5 NCF installed on my TP, it will take care of all the apps on my TP, this is not true. You will still need those 2.0 NCF files...:mrgreen:
