free tethering?

i have a verizon touch pro and i was wondering the best way to tether to my laptop WITHOUT verizon knowing im doing it. I dont want any hidden charges
what programs work the best and how do i get it set up?
there are too many thread to go through just to figure out the program
doesnt work =\
